2022-2023 Tryout & Evaluation process

If looking to make a club team:

  • Attend camps and clinics to get to know DIG

  • Let us know you are interested in playing for DIG.

  • Any athlete from another other club is encouraged to attend camps, clinics, and lessons prior to the evaluation window, but will not receive an offer for any specific team until the open tryout window.

Tryout Dates:

10s-12s:
Sat. July 9th from 2:00 - 3:30 PM
Sun. July 10th from 12:00 - 1:30 PM
Mon. July 11th from 5:30 - 8:00 PM

13s-14s :
Sat. July 9th from 9:00 - 10:30 AM
Sun. July 10th from 2:30 - 4:00 PM
Mon. July 11th from 5:30 - 8:00 PM

15s-18s:
Sat. July 9th from 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM
Sun. July 10th from 5:00 - 6:30 PM
Mon. July 11th from 5:30 - 8:00 PM

USAV Age Definitions (for 2022-2023 season)

18 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1st, 2004 or are high school students in the twelfth (12th) grade or below during the current academic year and are 19 years of age or younger (born on or after July 1, 2003).

17 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2005
16 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
15 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
14 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
13 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
12 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 20010
11 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
10 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
9 and Under: Players who were born on or after July 1, 2013

*If asked to attend a second day of tryouts, player will not be charged for the second tryout.

Can't make one of the tryouts?

  • Attend as many camps, clinics, and private lessons in June to experience who we are at DIG and for us to get to know you.

  • Communicate with the coach of your age group that you will be missing tryouts

    • Understand we are not allowed to discuss a specific team if you currently belong to another club

  • Follow up with emails to both info@digvbc.com and the coach before and during the week of tryouts.
