Is Academy Juniors right for your player?

Academy Juniors program intends to join like-minded, like-skilled players on the court to learn "real" volleyball. Juniors is geared towards players that are not ready for or are not looking for the commitment of club or club prep level volleyball, but are passionate about training and building their fundamentals on the court. Academy Jr.'s provides players the opportunity to train with a DIG certified coach at an affordable cost and manageable commitment level. The season training program includes a weekly team practice, monthly skills sessions with a DIG certified coach. Teams will be expected to learn on court curriculum at a more competitive pace. Participants will compete in the winter league at Dallas Sportsplex as well as compete in two in-house tournaments (Preseason Showcase and End of Season Winter Tournament).

How to Prepare for Tryouts

• If you are new to the club, follow the DIG VBC social media to stay informed on upcoming events (e.g., Instagram, Facebook, etc.)

• Get to know our exceptional coaching team by attending camps and clinics

• Ask coaches for feedback on areas for improvement

• Determine which team is the best fit for your athlete by getting to know the coaches, understanding the team commitment, cost and schedule
